Limited warranty

If within the warranty period specified, this product fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, Intermatic Incorporated will repair or replace the failed part or the entire unit with a new or factory refurbished product, at its discretion, free of charge. In most cases, the Purchaser must pay all labor and transportation charges on products or parts submitted for repair or replacement. This warranty is extended to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. The warranty of a replacement product is concurrent with the original warranty of the product being replaced.

This warranty does not apply to: (a) damage to units caused by accident, abuse in handling, misuse, neglect, improper installation, improper maintenance or acts of God; (b) units which have been subjected to unauthorized repair, use of non-genuine Intermatic replacement parts, opened, taken apart or otherwise modified; (c) units not used in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions; (d) damages exceeding the cost of the product; (e) bulbs, batteries or the finish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is considered normal wear and tear; (f) transit damage, initial installation costs, removal costs, or reinstallation costs.
